Secure Payment Process 

We understand that trust is everything when it comes to international transactions. 

That’s why Classic Bridge uses secure escrow services to protect both buyers and sellers: 

Funds are Deposited in Escrow 

Once a vehicle is selected, the buyer deposits the agreed amount into an independent escrow account. 

The funds are safely held by a third-party financial partner and never go directly to Classic Bridge at this stage. 

Vehicle Inspection and Shipping 

Classic Bridge coordinates the inspection, documentation, and shipping of the vehicle through our trusted logistics and customs partners. 

The buyer receives full reports, shipping details, and proof of export. 

Delivery and Confirmation 

After the vehicle clears customs and arrives at the agreed destination, the buyer confirms receipt and satisfaction. 

Funds Released

Only after confirmation does the escrow service release the funds to Classic Bridge. 

This ensures peace of mind for the buyer and guarantees that Classic Bridge is rewarded only when the car is delivered. 

Customs Process 

Importing a vintage car or motorcycle across borders involves a series of customs procedures. At Classic Bridge, we coordinate this entire process through our certified customs partners to ensure that your vehicle enters your country legally and smoothly. 

Export from Canada 

We prepare the Bill of Sale, proof of ownership, and export declaration. 

Canadian customs authorizes the vehicle for international shipping. 

Import Licenses 

Before the vehicle arrives, our customs agents in your country apply for the required import permits and classifications. 

For vehicles over 30 years old, we secure the proper “collector” status to ensure compliance with local laws. 

Arrival and Inspection 

When the ship arrives, the container or Ro-Ro cargo is unloaded under customs supervision. 

Authorities may perform a physical inspection to verify VIN, condition, and declared value.

Tax and Duty Assessment   

Customs calculates the applicable duties and taxes (import duty, VAT/ICMS, excise taxes). 

These are paid directly to government accounts — Classic Bridge does not handle these funds. 

Clearance and Release

Once payments are confirmed, the customs office releases the vehicle. 

Our logistics partner arranges delivery to your chosen location.
